I am very happy and excited to say I am officially done with makeup classes and finally a certified makeup artist!!

Our final week was definitely my favorite. We learned about bridal makeup, which I love! We gave each other consultations on our dream weddings and created looks on each other based on the information we gathered. Airbrushing is relatively new to makeup and very in demand by brides these days. We watched as our teacher created an airbrush bridal look on one of our classmates. It was so much fun.

We also learned about fantasy/theater makeup which is very creative and fun. Working together as if we were on a set, we transformed one of our classmates into a man! Something I didn’t expect us to learn about was how to apply temporary and airbrushed tattoos. Temptu, which is a very popular airbrush brand actually made their start with airbrushed tattoos (fun fact).

Out last day of classes was definitely the best. We took a field trip to the Make Up For Ever store and shopped 40% off! I can’t wait to give you guys a review on the products I bought!

Overall, makeup school was an amazing experience and I am so looking forward to what lies ahead! Up next, business cards!
