Sorry I’ve been MIA these past 2 weeks, but I have some very exciting news! I have been apartment hunting, which has taken up a lot of my free time. I don’t think I’ve found “The One” yet, but I will def keep you guys posted!
Looking at the weather forecast for the coming week has inspired today’s post. I am so over the cold, rainy Winter weather and so ready for the sunny, uplifting weather Spring brings. More so, I’m excited to convert my wardrobe and bring out the color and florals! I’m even more excited about Spring makeup! I’ve been dying to wear my oranges, corals and pinks! After being in hibernation for most of the winter, I get so inspired when Springtime comes.
I’ve decided to gather some of my Springtime beauty essentials and while doing so, put together a list of must-haves for the season. I’m such a big fan of orange/coral lips, and I think they’re perfect for Spring! I also love pink lips for Spring, anything from a light, neutral pink to a bright pink for the evenings. Bright pink is my red lip for Spring, and I love it! I think coral or pink blush is a great complement to an orange/coral lip and pink lip. I tend to stay away from dark, bold colors in the Spring and Summer seasons. Instead of black eyeliner, I usually opt for a brown liner, especially during the day.
Some things stay the same all year round. My moisturizer/sunscreen is one. I always stress how important moisturizer and sunscreen is all year round. It is even more important in the seasons when there is more sun and when you spend more time in the sun. This is a step I never skip and urge you not too as well. My foundation is next. Because it’s a balancing foundation that controls oil while moisturizing, I will never abandon it! Unfortunately my dark circles do not go away when the sun comes out, so undereye concealer is a must. Last but not least, the lashes! The longer, the better!
